Dual-labeled probes TaqMan

TaqMan probes are oligonucleotides with a reporter fluorophore, a quencher and a 3' extension block.

During the PCR reaction these probes will be sequence-specifically hydrolysed, thus releasing the fluorophore (5' nuclease assay)

TaqMan probes like Molecular Beacons and FRET Probes are used for Real-Time detection of PCR products.

All products undergo a multi-step HPLC purification to ensure complete labeling; unquenched molecules increase the intrinsic fluorescence (higher background) 

FastProbes with 6-FAM reporter fluorophore and 3'-Dabcyl or 3'-TAMRA quencher are synthesized and fully labeled in one step followed by multi-step purification procedure.

'Classic TaqMan' (FAM/TAMRA) labeled at its5' with fluorescein and internal dT-TAMRA or 3' terminal dT-TAMRA. The 3'-end is protected against polymerase extension by phospohorylation.

DuoProbes offer  a higher flexibility allowing you to chose from a variety of reporter fluorophores (amidite chemistry) and different quenchers.

DuoPlus increases the spectrum of available reporter fluorophores. Please allow longer turnaraound times due to the more complex production process.
